Also in the programme are the UK premiere of British composer Rebecca Saunders's revised work 'traces' and Richard Strauss's epic symphonic poem, the Alpine Symphony. The concert is performed by one of the world's longest-standing orchestras, the Staatskapelle Dresden, conducted by Fabio Luisi.
